Shannon obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Platt College in Aurora, CO. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Orthopedics. She has worked with major insurance companies providing telephonic triage and Disease Management services for those with high acuity health conditions. Shannon began her tenure with KDJ Consultants as a Nurse Reviewer in 2020 performing Medical Record Review and quickly became a part of the Clinical Leadership team in 2021, progressing into the Director of Clinical Operations role in September 2022. Shannon has a passion for teaching, compassion and understanding that each provider has a starting point and an expectation for quality healthcare which allows her to provide excellent oversight to the team of nurses at KDJ Consultants. She empowers nurses to grow through the challenges and recognizes that each day presents a new learning opportunity that will better the work that is done in healthcare. She attends National Conferences to further expand her knowledge of Regulatory Requirements and Innovations in Healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, hiking, camping, travelling, and farming with her chickens.
